YORKTOWN — Riverwalk Restaurant, overlooking the York River and Coleman Bridge in Yorktown, will reopen its dining room daily to guests starting Tuesday, May 14.
“We are really excited to open and want everyone to know it’s going to be a great place that will complement what we do (next door) at Water Street Grille. One thing I wanted to do was separate the concepts,” said owner Sid Hall.
Since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, Riverwalk Restaurant has operated mainly as an event and banquet space.
“We will be prioritizing fresh seafood. Given that we are on the York River, it’s the perfect dining spot for folks to come down for a casual lunch or an upscale dinner.” Hall continued, “We really want to appeal to both sets of people by being approachable during the day, and at night, the white tablecloths will return for upscale dining.”
Guests can look forward to two new menus. Lunch offerings will include salads, burgers and sandwiches, while dinner will feature specialty cocktails, steaks and seasonal fresh seafood.
“There will also be an ode to the past, with Nick’s Seafood Pavilion’s Shrimp Givesti as one of our evening entrees. I think people are going to love it,” stated Hall.
Casual lunch will begin at 11 a.m. and at 4 p.m., the restaurant will become a fine dining dinner experience. Walk-ins are welcome, however, reservations can be made.
