YORKTOWN — Yorktown Market Days Winter Markets continue this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Riverwalk Landing.
Organizers invite guests to warm up with a hot cup of coffee or bowl of soup while shopping for locally grown, produced, and crafted products including baked goods; homemade candles and soaps; gourmet chocolates; scarves and mittens; flowers; spices; handmade artwork; and more.
Local farms will sell eggs, meats, and seasonal produce, and food trucks will be stationed to serve patrons throughout the markets, according to York County Public Affairs.
Scheduled winter markets include a Valentine’s Day Market on Feb. 10, Feb. 24, March 2, and a St. Patrick’s Day Market on March 16. All dates are from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The official weekly Yorktown Market Days season begins on April 13 with the Go Green Market from 8 a.m. to noon to promote environmental sustainability.
Beginning with the April 13 event, Yorktown Market Days will run Saturdays through the end of October — rain or shine — with the exceptions of May 4 and Oct. 5.
There will be several themed markets throughout 2024, many with extended hours to appeal to niche groups within the community — from animal and antique enthusiasts to history and water lovers, according to York County Public Affairs.
