Arrests Made in Theft from Yorktown Military Surplus Store

YORKTOWN — Three people have been arrested for the  Jan. 24 theft of merchandise from a Yorktown military surplus store.

According to the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, on Jan. 24, Little G.I. Joe’s Military Surplus, located in the 2300 Block of George Washington Memorial Highway, reported that more than $1,000 in merchandise had been stolen overnight.

On Feb. 4, three suspects were arrested on charges of Grand Larceny and Trespassing, according to the sheriff’s office.

Arrested were 40-year-old Crystal Lynn Smith of Chesapeake, 40-year-old Kendall Wayne White of Suffolk and 40-year-old Kyle David McFadden, also of Suffolk.
