Marijuana, Marijuana Products Seized at Williamsburg Vape Shop

WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg police seized approximately 2,900 containers or packages of marijuana and marijuana products at a Richmond Road Tobacco & Vape shop Friday, Jan. 26.

According to police, at approximately 1 p.m. on Jan. 26 investigators executed a search warrant at the Tobacco & Vape store located at 1012 Richmond Road.

An employee of the store, 31-year-old Mohamed Lemine Ejiwen of Metairie, Louisiana, was arrested and charged with one felony count of possession with intent to distribute up to five pounds of marijuana, according to officials.

The investigation into Tobacco & Vape remains open.

Police are asking anyone with information about the Tobacco & Vape store to contact Investigator Steve Roberts at 757-220-2331. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through Peninsula Crime Stoppers by phone at 888-LOCK-U-UP or online. Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
