WILLIAMSBURG — After excelling on the field and in the classroom, three William & Mary football standouts were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
Long snapper Nick Levy, defensive lineman Momen Zahid and safety David Roulley all garnered the distinction, while Levy was chosen as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and advances to the national ballot. Academic All-America honorees will be announced Jan. 23, 2024.
One of the nation’s best long snappers, Levy has started all 24 games of his career and was named to multiple freshman All-America teams in 2022. An outstanding student, he currently owns a 3.95 GPA and earned a spot on the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
Zahid earned CSC Academic All-District distinction for the second consecutive season after another impressive year on and off the field. The Ashburn, Va., native appeared in 10 games this fall and totaled 2.5 sacks. Zahid, who is majoring in biology, has earned W&M’s Provost Award and CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction multiple times during his career.
After missing last season due to injury, Roulley emerged as a key contributor for W&M during the 2023 campaign and appeared in 10 games with one start. The Virginia Beach, Va., native finished the season with 17 tackles and an interception. Roulley is majoring in finance and has garnered a spot on the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll multiple times.
