WILLIAMSBURG — After posting one of the best seasons in school history, William & Mary standout kicker Caden Bonoffski was selected to the PFF FCS All-America Team.
Bonoffski was the lone kicker to earn All-America distinction by the organization, which selected the team by a vote of 13 PFF analysts and data collectors.
A first-team All-CAA selection and Fred Mitchell Award Finalist, Bonoffski led the CAA and ranked fifth nationally in field goal percentage (.889) at the conclusion of the regular season, while he also led the conference and ranked eighth in the country in made field goals per game (1.45).
In addition to connecting on 16-of-18 field goal attempts, he also made 8-of-9 kicks from 40+ yards and was perfect (25-of-25) on PATs. His 16 made field goals ranks ninth on W&M’s single-season list.
One of his best performances came in the win against Wofford in which he connected on all three of his field goal attempts, as he was chosen as the CAA Special Teams Player of the Week.
A graduate transfer, Bonoffski joined the Tribe this season after a standout career at Davidson where he was a two-time All-Pioneer selection. He finished his career with the Wildcats ranked fourth on the program’s all-time scoring list (209).
