WILLIAMSBURG — The City of Williamsburg announced adjusted parking rates for the Prince George Parking Garage for the holiday season, with the first four hours free from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.
The garage, located at 230 N. Henry St., has 362 parking spaces, as well as two charging locations for electric vehicles.
The new rate is in place from Thursday, Nov. 23, through Monday, Jan. 1, the city said. After four hours, it is $1 per hour.
The payment system is fully automated, using license plate reader technology, according to the city. Payment for parking is by credit and debit cards only. No cash is accepted.
Regular parking rates will return Jan. 2, with the first 30 minutes free and $1 an hour afterward to a maximum of $12 a day.
