This week, meet Bill Horn.
What is your job title and description?
Recently named General Manager for Kingsmill Resort. To be a leader for the Kingsmill Resort team, The Club at Kingsmill members and the Kingsmill community. To build successful and grow relationships by bringing people together to exceed our guests and members’ expectations.
Who do you interact/work with on a regular basis?
I work with our entire team of professionals every day including directors, and team members to offer support, leadership, and commitment to them. I also engage with our members and guests to find out how their experience is going, and what we can do better or differently for the future.
How do you/your organization interact with the local community?
We want to be a leader in the community. I am less than a month into my position so am still learning and meeting many new people. I absolutely love the area of Williamsburg and the surrounding community of Kingsmill.
What is something about your job most people wouldn’t know about?
It’s all about building relationships.
How do you define success?
When our staff, club members, and guests are happy.
What is your most successful accomplishment to date?
Working in this incredible industry with such incredible staff members.
How long have you lived/worked in the Historic Triangle?
I’m new to the area and looking forward to settling in!
What is your favorite part of being in the Historic Triangle?
The incredible community
What do you do for downtime/to relax?
I enjoy reading, music, sunrises and riding my bike.

To bring Kingsmill to its next level.
