WILLIAMSBURG — The William & Mary Board of Visitors will meet on the William & Mary campus in Williamsburg on Sept. 27-29 to conduct regular business of the board, the university announced.
According to William & Mary, committee meetings will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27, in the new boardroom on the second floor of Blow Memorial Hall, room 201, with meetings set to conclude at 5 p.m.
At 5 p.m., the board will attend a reception and dedication of the new boardroom, followed by a dinner in the Rockefeller Building located across the street from the Williamsburg Lodge.
On Thursday, committee meetings will resume at 7:45 a.m. in Blow Memorial Hall and are expected to conclude at 5:45 p.m. At approximately 6:00 p.m., the board will meet in the Blue Room of the Sir Christopher Wren Building for the recitation of the board pledge, pinning of new members and annual member photo. At 6:45 p.m., the board will attend a reception and dinner for retired board members in the Great Hall of the Sir Christopher Wren Building.
On Friday, the full Board will meet at 7:30 a.m. in Blow Memorial Hall, and are scheduled to conclude at 9:30 a.m. The Friday morning meeting of the full board will take place in the board’s usual meeting location and will be livestreamed on the Board of Visitors webpage at wm.edu/bovmeeting.
According to the university, all times are approximate, and the board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meeting is open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
