WILLIAMSBURG — 1607 Coffee Company, located in Colony Square Shopping Center on Jamestown Road, celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 19.
Owner Rebecca Durran was joined by her team, along with James City County (JCC) Administrator Scott Stevens and JCC Board of Supervisors member Ruth Larson for the event, which was hosted by the Great Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce.
“Thank you for being a part of this journey! We promise to source the finest coffee beans from around the world, to serve you with excellence and to create an atmosphere that feels like a second home. This is a wonderful community that we are proud to be a part of,” said Durran.
The establishment is open from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. for beverages, breakfast, brunch and lunch every day except Sunday.
The warm and cozy space has comfortable seating both inside and out with a fireplace that welcomes customers to savor their beverages.
The 1607 Coffee Company menu includes coffee, tea, smoothies, breakfast staples such as eggs and pastries along with fresh salads, soups and sandwiches for lunch. It also serves gelato.
