YORKTOWN — Yorktown held its 44th Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4.
Despite the extreme hot temperatures, crowds turned out to shop, enjoy the beach, dip in the river, enjoy the entertainment and grab a bite at one of the visiting food trucks and nearby restaurants.
The evening was capped off with fireworks over the York River.
