Jamestown Beach Parking Fees Return for Summer May 27

JAMES CITY COUNTY — Jamestown Beach Event Park summer parking fees are set to return Saturday, May 27 for nonresidents.

Parking fees are charged for nonresidents from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, according to the county. This year, fees will be in effect from Saturday, May 27 through Monday, Sept. 4. Fees are charged Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., and on weekends and holidays from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

There is no parking fee for for residents of James City County and City of Williamsburg who physically reside in the county or city. Residents should bring with them proof of residency in the form of a valid driver’s license or valid Virginia identification card that shows their current address. If the driver’s license or identification card does not show a current address, residents may present a current lease agreement, utility bill or voter registration card along with ID.

Parking decals for residents are no longer issued; however, previously issued decals are still valid if readable, the county said. Decals which are not readable will no longer be valid and will not be replaced.

Stop at the entrance gate at Jamestown Beach Event Park to pay fees or to provide proof of residency. Cash, credit/debit cards and checks are accepted. For more information, call 757-259-5360.
