WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg Police are seeking help from the public in identifying two suspects in connection with vandalism of a historic property and a tunnel.
According to police, on April 1 at approximately 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of W. Francis Street to a report of vandalism.
An investigation revealed graffiti on a historic building, as well as on the tunnel wall that connects Lafayette Street to First Street.
Investigators from the Criminal Investigations Bureau obtained footage of two unknown suspects they are seeking to identify and question.
Anyone who may have information about this incident or can identify either of the suspects is asked to contact investigator Heather Ziegler at 757-220-6238. Tips may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
