WILLIAMSBURG–Chesapeake Bay Writers and Williamsburg Library are co-sponsoring a free open literature reading (“open mic”) on Sun. March 19 from 1-3 p.m. at the the Stryker Center.
The event is free to the general public. Come to read or to hear local authors share their stories. Audience welcome.
Chesapeake Bay Writers Coordinator Mary Shipko said, “This is the best time to read a passage from your book, a poem, or something else! This is not a critique event, it’s a chance to share your words, your story, aloud. This opportunity builds confidence as a writer and speaker.”
The Chesapeake Bay Writers are a chapter of the Virginia Writers Club for published and aspiring writers.
