WILLIAMSBURG — Volunteer registration for the 25th annual Great American Cleanup is now open.
The Great American Cleanup is an opportunity to transform neighborhoods and the community into beautiful, healthy spaces. Beautiful places are environmentally healthy, socially connected and economically sound, according to Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s largest community improvement program.
The two day event is scheduled for March 24-25 across Hampton Roads.
The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup program is held annually with an estimated 15,000 community events taking place nationwide.
Register at askHRgreen.org and James City County staff will reach out to help with supplies, cleanup locations and disposal.
