WILLIAMSBURG — James City County Police Department (JCCPD) announced it has identified a suspect in a Jan. 29 shoplifting incident at the Sunglass Hut on Richmond Road.
The suspect has been identified by as Travis D. Wilson, a 39-year-old man from Norfolk. Wilson has been charged with one count of Grand Larceny.
According to JCCPD, on Jan. 29 around 2:10 p.m., an unknown male rushed into the store and began grabbing items while shouting aggressively at store employees. Police said he stole twenty-one pairs of sunglasses valued at over $8,000. The stolen items included brands such as Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Prada, and Burberry.
