Interested in 3D printing? Check out this free workshop

NEWPORT NEWS — The Grissom Library is hosting a introductory workshop to 3D printing on Wednesday.

The event is free and open to the public, however registration is required.

According to the event page, participants will learn how to operate an Ultimaker 3D printer, machine safety, makerspace policies and other topics and be able to use  3D printers at all Newport News public libraries after completing the course.

The 3D Printer Orientation workshop is at Grissom Library, 366 Deshazor Dr. on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Adults must accompany children younger than 13 years old. For more information, visit the library website or call 757-369-3190.
