Nazareth University names students to its spring 2024 Dean’s List

Nazareth University named the following students to the spring 2024 Dean’s List.

A student’s grade point average must be at least 3.5 or above, and they must complete 12 credit hours of graded work that semester in order to be included on the dean’s list at Nazareth.

Tiana Thomas Named to the Spring 2024 Dean’s List at Georgia State University

Tiana Thomas of Hampton was named to the Dean’s List at Georgia State University for the Spring 2024 semester.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

Arlequin graduated with a master’s degree while taking classes at Troy Online.

Mary Digges Named to Spring 2024 Dean’s Honor Roll at the University of Mississippi

Mary Digges, of Williamsburg, was named to the University of Mississippi’s Spring 2024 Honor Roll lists.

Digges, majoring in Psychology, was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50-3.74.

To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

The University of Mississippi, affectionately known as Ole Miss, is the state’s flagship university.

Tiffany Artis Earns Dean’s List Recognition at Valdosta State University

Valdosta State University congratulated Tiffany Artis of Yorktown for earning a spot on the Spring 2024 Dean’s List.

To qualify for Dean’s List at VSU, students must achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher. Please note that developmental studies, transient, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean’s List status.

Emerson College Student Isabelle McMahan of Williamsburg Earns Dean’s List Honors for Spring 2024 Semester

Isabelle McMahan of Williamsburg earned Dean’s List list honors from Emerson College for the Spring 2024 Semester.

The requirement to make Dean’s List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester.

McMahan is majoring in Creative Writing BFA and is a member of the Class of 2026.

Wheston Grove Inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

Wheston Grove of Williamsburg was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Grove was initiated at Fort Hays State University.

Grove is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10% of seniors and 7.5% of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10% of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.

Sky Hosler, of Williamsburg, is one of 444 students named to the President’s List at Shenandoah University for the Spring 2024 semester.

To qualify for this academic recognition, students must be enrolled full-time in baccalaureate degree programs and attain a semester GPA of 3.90 or higher. All President’s List honorees are also recognized on the university’s Dean’s List, which includes students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
