HAMPTON — Interstate 664 (I-664) northbound was shut down due to a criminal investigation into a shooting on the highway.
On Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at approximately 12:13 p.m., the Virginia State Police (VSP) came upon a vehicle that had been involved in an interstate shooting that occurred between Aberdeen Road and Power Plant Parkway.
Two male victims suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
By 2:40 p.m., all lanes of traffic were reopened.
