The Senior Center’s annual fundraiser is now accepting donations. As you do your spring cleaning, please consider bringing items to the Senior Center of York’s 2018 White Elephant (yard sale items) and Bake Sale, scheduled for Saturday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is held at the Senior Center, 5314 George Washington Memorial Highway, in the Washington Square Shopping Center. All proceeds from the fundraiser benefit programming at the Senior Center.

Donations – household items and articles other than clothing – may be delivered to the Senior Center, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., until the day of the sale.

Prepackaged and ready-for-purchase bake sale items (baked goods only) such as cakes, pies, brownies, and cookies, may be delivered Friday, April 6, from 12 to 4 p.m., or on the day of the sale by 8:30 a.m.  Please note: bake sale items must not require heating or refrigeration.

Tickets for door prizes are also available to purchase for a chance to win some great prizes! This year, we have added a silent auction!

For more information about the fundraiser, or any Senior Center activities, please call (757) 890-3444.
