Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center are inviting visitors to find out which Revolutionary-era figure they are most like with the launch of a new personality quiz titled “How Revolutionary Are You?”
Players select one of four possible responses to 10 different questions and are then matched with one of 20 possible Revolutionary counterparts, the line-up of which includes famous founding fathers and prominent British loyalists alike, according to a recent press release from the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.
The diversity of possible results reflects a wide range of historical figures, including not only prominent generals and politicians but also the period’s leading ladies, former slaves and American Indians.
The quiz provides a window into the forthcoming American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, the release stated, and is a light-hearted, humorous way to draw readers into the compelling stories of the brave individuals living during such tumultuous times.
Yorktown Victory Center will officially transition into the American Revolutionary Museum this October with the debut of a new introductory film and permanent exhibition galleries. A living-history, Revolution-era farm and Continental Army encampment is currently under construction and will be completed in early 2017, according to the release.
