JCC Parks and Recreation to Host Job Fair

James City County Parks and Recreation is hosting a job fair this weekend to hire for multiple position levels within the department.

The job fair, which will take place Saturday at the James City County Recreation Center, will feature information about and opportunities to apply to both full-time and seasonal jobs with the department.

Current job openings include lifeguards, lead lifeguards, customer assistants, recreation leaders, assistant recreation supervisors and therapeutic recreation leaders and instructors.

Attendees are encouraged to apply online prior to the job fair to save time and streamline their experience on the day of the event.

Prospective employees will need a picture identification card, copies of certifications if relevant to the position and a swimsuit and towel if applying for a lifeguard or lead lifeguard position.

All applicants must be 16 years old at the time of hire and must complete a drug test, a criminal history and a sex offender check. Applicants 17 and under will need parental consent to complete the post-offer checks if selected.
