Members of the Williamsburg Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority got into the holiday spirit this year with a donation to Colonial Child Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
CASA, a network that serves as both emotional support and legal advocate for abused and neglected children, is the official philanthropy for Kappa Alpha Theta nationally.
The Williamsburg Alumnae Chapter of the sorority has honored its ties to CASA over the past several years with an annual holiday donation of toys and clothes to local children in need in Williamsburg, James City County, York County and Poquoson.
Lauralyn Copan, president of the Williamsburg Alumnae Chapter, represented the sorority by bringing the items donated by members to the CASA offices, where CASA Program Director Victoria Canady received them.
The donation included razor scooters, bicycle helmets, clothing, toys and candies.
