Monday's Weather Closings, Postponements - Updated 9 A.M.

Saturday's snow is still around and having a limited effect on opening times Monday. If you have a weather-related cancellation or postponement, or if there's a delayed opening please email it to contactus@wydaily.com and we'll be sure to post it here as we update throughout the day.

Williamsburg James City County Public Schools - W-JCC Superintendent Gary Mathews has announced that schools will open on a two-hour delay Monday, Feb. 8. Mathews said division transportation officials had checked area road conditions and urged the two-hour delay "given uncleared secondary roads and sheets of ice. Additionally, temperatures are expected in the teens tonight, further exacerbating road conditions."

Williamsburg Montessori School is opening at 9:30 a.m. for all programs on Monday, Feb. 8.

Gloucester County Public Schools will have a 2-hour delayed opening on Monday. All 12-month employees are expected to report on time.

Hampton Roads Academy will be closed Monday, Feb. 8 because the main water line broke and there is no water on campus. Any scheduled meetings are canceled. The HRA Web site will be updated around noon with athletic practice information.

The Bay Rivers District Indoor Track Championships scheduled for Monday at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton have been postponed. They will be rescheduled for later this week.

Waller Mill Park in Williamsburg will open Monday at noon.
