Larry A. O’Donnell

Williamsburg - Larry A. O’Donnell, a long time resident of Williamsburg, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, Mar. 17, 2009.  Mr. O’Donnell worked for over twenty years for Colonial Williamsburg as a carpenter and was a member of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the beach.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Shaun O’Donnell, and his wife, Marcia; daughter, Amy Peatross, and her husband, Michael; five grandchildren; five nieces and nephews including William and Gayle Trautman, who were as children; and 5 great-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, Mar. 19, 2009, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains, Williamsburg. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Mar. 20, 2009, at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church.  Interment will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department, 440 N. Boundary Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185.
