UPDATE: Police make arrest in Quarterpath robbery

UPDATED April 14- Williamsburg Police have arrested one of two people believed to be involved in Tuesday’s robbery of the Quarterpath Inn & Suites.  

Juwan Synquez Brown, 20, was taken into custody around 7 a.m. Friday.  Brown was at his residence and arrested without incident.  He is being held without bond and is charged with one count of robbery.

The second person believed to be involved is still at large.  If the public has any information on this incident, they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or the Williamsburg Police Department at 757-220-2331.

Williamsburg police are searching for two men suspected of robbing the Quarterpath Inn & Suites by pulling guns on the clerk and demanding cash.

According to Maj. Greg Riley of the Williamsburg Police Department, deputies responded to the hotel, located in the 600 block of York Street, early Tuesday morning for a report of a robbery.

When police arrived, the clerk told them two men in their early 20’s, each about six feet in height, entered the hotel wearing dark colored hooded jackets.

The two men displayed handguns and demanded money from the clerk, police said.

The clerk gave the suspects an undetermined amount of cash and the men fled the area. No one was injured during the incident.
