Gloria was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Browns Mills, N.J. She was a Yorktown resident since 1993. She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and School and the Martha Circle. She was a former member of OWC at Langley Air Force Base. She made hats for the homeless thru PORT and Baptismal banners for the children of the church.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Trossbach.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert Krause; daughter, Caroline Krause Hundley (Bryan) of Chesapeake; and son, Jonathan Harold Krause of Amelia; mother, Edna Trossbach, and two sisters, Nancy Trossbach and Sandra Trossbach, all of Browns Mill, N.J.; and a grandson, Brandon.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Resurrection Lutheran Church and School. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service in the church social hall.
