Lauren Nicole “Nikki” Turner, 27, died peacefully at her home Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, in Williamsburg, Va.
Nikki is survived by her parents, Glenn and Thelma Turner; sister, LaChile Turner; brother, Jordan Turner (Kristina); nephew, Conall William; niece, Amelia Lauren; godparents, Clifton and Marion Turner and Lessie and the late Douglas Carter; as well as her great-aunt, Eva Henderson. Nikki is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Nikki was born on June 7, 1989, in Bamberg, Germany. In 2007, she graduated from Bruton High School. Nikki was an amazing individual whose caring spirit and loving heart warmed and enriched the lives of everyone that she met.
A reflection service will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Whiting’s Funeral Home, with a viewing beginning at 5 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Nazareth Baptist Church in Boston, Va. Nikki may be viewed in the church beginning at 11 a.m. until the hour of her service. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nikki’s life.
