Three Williamsburg residents have been arrested in connection to a late night shooting that occurred outside a York County Walmart Dec. 29.

According to a news release from the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office, police arrested Kevin Clark, 24, on Jan. 11. Clark was charged with reckless handling of a firearm, felony property damage, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Two other Williamsburg residents Amber Stewart, 23, and Clarence Edmonds Jr., 22, were also arrested Jan. 12 and Jan. 18, respectively, for their alleged involvement in the shooting.

Police were called to the Walmart, located at 731 East Rochambeau Drive, around 11:50 p.m. Dec. 29 in response to a call about shots fired, police said.

“Upon investigating,” a YPSO news release stated. “It appears that two separate groups of males began arguing, and at one point some shots were fired between the groups.”

There were no reported injuries from the fight, police said.

Stewart is charged with felony property damage, and Edmonds is charged with obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact, according to the release.

Police are still looking for two more individuals they believe were involved in the incident.
