Cynthia Louise Cook Krohn, 64, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017. Cynthia was a native of Panama City, Fla., former resident of Warrensburg, N.Y., and Williamsburg resident for 18 years.

She worked as a nurse at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, N.Y., and retired from Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News in 1996. Cynthia, along with her husband, enjoyed making custom jewelry out of polished stone and selling them at local bazaars and craft shows.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Lynn Paul Krohn; daughter, Margaret Krohn, and companion, Sean Jamison; son, Joseph Krohn; and grandson, Charles Krohn.

A service of celebration will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Amory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
