Stephen Michael Webb, 68, passed away, Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016, at home with his family by his side. Steve was a native of Erwin, Tenn., and a longtime resident of Poquoson.
He worked for Anheuser-Busch as a brewer, retiring in 2005 after 30 years. Steve was a Vietnam veteran earning a Purple Heart. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, NASCAR and Tennessee Volunteers’ fan, member of the Anheuser-Busch Bass Club, and the Teamsters Local 95.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Bern Mack Webb; and his sister, Gail Miller.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Donna; son, Bo Webb, and his wife, Jessica; daughter, Randi Evans, and her husband, Tyler; grandchildren, Noah Hunter, Keegan Webb and Cheyenne Evans; brother, Jack Webb, and his wife, Joyce; and sisters, Bobbi Saylor, Sue Thelen and Sharon Steppe, and her husband, David.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home. A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at noon Tuesday, Jan. 3, led by the Rev. Charles R. Stacy, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Veterans Memorial Gardens, Hampton.
