Clarence Wesley Lee was called to eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, at his home. His life began on July 31, 1931, the son of the late Mattie and James R. Lee.

He was a member of Chickahominy Baptist Church. Mr. Lee retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation after many years of service. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his children, Carolyn M. Holland, Annie M. Fields (Christopher) and Charles Mason (LaLora); sister, Elnora Brown; brother, John Archie Lee (Levonia); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.

A funeral service celebrating the life he lived will be held at noon on Friday, Dec. 23, at Chickahominy Baptist Church with Apostle Corwin R. Hammond officiating. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at the church by 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Mr. Lee may be viewed only in the church on Friday beginning at 10 a.m. until the hour of his service.
