Police: Masked, armed robbers hold up Yorktown convenience store

The York Poqouson’s Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred Nov. 29 at Rip’s Food Store located in Yorktown.

According to a YPSO release, two masked suspects, armed with handguns, entered the convenience store located at 905 Denbigh Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. last Tuesday.

The pair left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and no one was injured, the release stated.
