Kenneth W. “Kenny” Brown entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. His life’s journey began on Aug. 2, 1958, the son of Doris Ann Matthews.
He was formerly employed by IHOP Restaurant in Williamsburg. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and love him. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his devoted wife, Paula Brown; two daughters and two sons; mother, Doris Ann Matthews; five sisters and one brother; 12 grandchildren; two godchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service, celebrating the life he lived, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Rising Sun Baptist Church, Lackey, with the Rev. David O. Spratley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at 100 Townley Ct., Apt. F by 10 a.m. on Saturday. Mr. Brown may be viewed from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the funeral home.
