Police seek man accused of stealing church’s master key

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man believed to have stolen a master key to the Yorkminster Presbyterian Church in York County.

An unidentified man entered the preschool office at the church around 11:30 a.m. Nov. 27 and took the master key to the building, according to a York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.

The entire church, located in the 6800 block of George Washington Memorial Highway, needed to be rekeyed because of the theft, the post said.
