Update: Missing Yorktown teen is found

Update 11:50 a.m.: Livia Abrahamson, 16, of Yorktown, who was reported missing since Thursday, has returned home, according to Lt. Dennis Ivey of the York Poqouson Sheriff’s Office. Her parents called police and reported her return Friday morning. 

The York Poqouson Sheriff’s Office is working to locate a teen who is reported to have been missing since Thursday.

According to a missing person alert issued by MissingKids, Livia Abrahamson, 16, of Yorktown, was last seen Thursday wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

The teen is described as having blonde hair and blue eyes and is approximately five and a half feet tall, weighing 120 pounds.

According to YPSO spokesman Lt. Dennis Ivey, a deputy made contact with Abrahamson via phone and informed her she was considered a runaway. She told the deputy that she would be home in a few hours.

Ivey confirmed the veracity of the information in the missing person alert, but said that Abrahamson’s outfit of a black jacket and blue jeans was not listed in his report.
