Deacon Eddie Lee Randall answered the Master’s call on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, in his home with his loving family by his bedside. His life’s journey began on August 6, 1931, the son of the late Hazel and Eddie A. Randall.
Eddie was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He served his church as a Deacon and a member of the Deacon’s Board. He retired from Camp Peary, after more than ten years of dedicated service. His home now is the Mansion Christ has prepared for him.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his devoted wife, Irene V. Randall; his daughters, Barbara Safewright, Kay J. Randall and Gale Wilson; his son, Rev. Morris Randall (Helen); his three sisters and his three brothers; his eight grandchildren; his great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service celebrating the life he lived, will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, in Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Keller officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery, Barhamsville, Virginia. Family and friends will assemble at 3816 Longhill Road by 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Mr. Randall may be viewed in the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
