Theodore S. Ratkus, 72, of Williamsburg, VA, previously of Trumbull, CT, died on Nov. 21, 2016.

Born on Dec. 23, 1943, in Pittsburg, PA, to the late Mildred Banitis and Theodore E. Ratkus, he is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Cynthia Kociban Ratkus; cherished daughters, Lisa (Paul) Bolejack of Arlington, VA, Pamela Ratkus of Williamsburg, VA, and Carrie (Michael) Roberts of Charlotte, NC; adoring grandchildren, Emily, and Nicholas Concemi, Mitchell, Alex, Caden, and Brady Roberts, Anna, and Cara Bolejack; and devoted brother Lawrence (Shirley) Ratkus of Irwin, PA; and many nieces and nephews. Theodore graduated from Munhall High and went on to achieve a BS degree in 1965 from Bucknell University on a football scholarship.

His professional career was dedicated to printed consumer goods and packaging industry with sales and marketing in North America and China. He was a member of St. Bede Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Colonial Corvette Club, and the VIPS Volunteers in Police Service in James City County. Theodore enjoyed wood working, home improvement, and car restoration.

A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at St. Bede Catholic Church, 3686 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188.  Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. Please view and sign the family‚Äôs online guestbook at
