Stephen Lambert Grimes, 27, loved to make others laugh

Stephen Lambert Grimes, 27, passed away suddenly on Nov. 19, 2016, in Williamsburg, VA.

Stephen graduated Lafayette High School in 2007 and attended Old Dominion University, where he studied engineering.

He enjoyed sports, woodworking, bowling and his pets, but most of all, he loved his family and making people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael A. Grimes. Survivors include his mother, Andrea S. Grimes, and her partner, Mervin A. Pleasant, both of Williamsburg, VA; brothers, Thomas M. Grimes, Edward A. Grimes and Harrison M. Grimes of Williamsburg, VA, and Philip J. Grimes of Blacksburg, VA; sister, Emma C. Grimes of Austin, TX; grandparents Bonnie L. Cooper of Williamsburg, VA, John M. Cooper of Ocean City, MD, and LaVere and Judith Grimes of Hanover, PA; and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188 on Saturday, November 26, at 11 a.m.
