From classics to jazz, the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra wants to help you get in the mood for Christmas.
WSO will stage its annual holiday pops concerts on Dec. 3 and 4 at Kimball Theatre on Duke of Gloucester Street. The 50-minute concerts will spotlight a range of seasonal stalwarts, such as “Deck the Halls” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”
“Our Holiday Pops concerts have become an exciting way to welcome the holiday season for the Williamsburg community,” WSO Executive Director Carolyn Keurajian said in a release.
The orchestra will perform standards such as “It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas” with vocalist Brett Cahoon, known locally as a member of the jazz quartet Good Shot Judy.
WSO will also invite an audience member to conduct an instrumental version of “Sleigh Ride.”
Concerts will begin both days at 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
General seating tickets cost $30 and are available online at www.williamsburgsymphony.org/tickets.
