Election Day is nearer by the second, and after redistricting earlier this year even WYDaily staff was confused about which precincts are eligible to vote in which race.

With three special elections (the 93rd House of Delegates, the 1st Senate District and Powhatan’s school board representative race) and two Congressional seats on the line, we wanted to help readers avoid confusion as they head to the polls.

Which is why WYDaily created a search tool and interactive map for voters who want to locate their nearest polling place – and determine which Virginia Senate, House and Congressional race they will be voting in.

To learn more about the candidates in each race, read our coverage here.

To find your polling place, just type your address into the search bar below. If your polling location does not appear, use the Virginia Department of Elections search function here.

With 34 polling places in the Historic Triangle, figuring out where to cast your vote can be a little tricky. Once you have the address of your polling place, use the map below to learn which race you will be voting in and see the hours of operation of your local polling place.

All mapped data has been provided by the General Registrars of the City of Williamsburg, James City and York counties. Searchable polling location database has been provided by the Voting Information Project
