NEWPORT NEWS –Hampton Roads Academy Fall sports teams have navigated their way to the semi-final rounds of the TCIS Tournament and the first round of the State Tournament this week.
Both Field Hockey and Volleyball capped the first round of the TCIS Tournament off with wins on Tuesday afternoon. Field Hockey beat Norfolk Collegiate in a close 2-1 victory, and Volleyball shut out Greenbrier Christian Academy in three games. Field Hockey plays Norfolk Academy in the semi-finals Wednesday, November 2 at 4 p.m. Cape Henry will host the Volleyball TCIS semi-final game Friday, November 4 at 7 p.m. where HRA will take on Peninsula Catholic.
Both Boys Soccer and Football will also play at home on Friday, November 4. Soccer will enter the first round of the State Tournament and will compete against Christchurch School at 3:30 p.m. Football will honor their senior players Friday Night at 7 p.m. during their home game against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy.
