Dylan Rockwell Fitchett, a graduate of Layfayette High School, has been selected to perform the national anthem for the home opening game of the Washington Wizards professional basketball team.

He will perform a ‘Jimi Hendrix’ style version of the national anthem on his electric guitar at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, in front of a Verizon Center sell-out crowd of over 20,000. The game will be televised on station CSN, which can be found on Cox at station #35, or 1035 HD. Check it out.
