Food, fireworks and other forms of fun are on tap Friday, Nov. 11, as the second-annual Bountiful Brews & Bites celebration returns to James City County.
The outdoor festival, which will run from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Jamestown Beach Event Park, is one of many events included in the Williamsburg Harvest Celebration, which runs from Nov. 4 to 13 throughout the county.
According to a JCC news release, Bountiful Brews & Bites will feature a la carte food offerings by local and regional food trucks. Drinks for sale will include hot chocolate, coffee, cider, craft beers and wine from the Williamsburg Winery.
An entertainment highlight will be a performance by the Kevin Mac Band, who will take the stage from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mac, a Virginia native now playing out of Nashville, combines original songs with classic covers and impromptu pieces inspired by his audiences.
“I’m a simple guy. I feed off of the energy from the crowd and I love to tell a story,” he said. “There’s nothing that makes me happier.”
A fireworks show will follow the concert at 8:15 p.m.
Tickets for BB&B cost $10 and are on sale now at williamsburgharvestcelebration.com.
As with all Williamsburg Harvest Celebration events, a portion of BB&B ticket sales will go to FISH, Meals on Wheels, the Fresh Food Fund and the Southern Foodways Alliance.
All beer and cider proceeds will go to the United Way of Greater Williamsburg.
For additional information, go to the BB&B Facebook page.
