Brooklyn W. Presson, 91, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. Born February 16, 1925, in Seaford, he was a lifelong resident of the Peninsula. Mr. Presson was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Lillian Pearl Presson in 2007. A veteran of World War II he served with the Fifth Calvary Division. Later, Mr. Presson retired from Amoco Yorktown Refinery after working 28 years. He was a member of Zion Methodist Church, Seaford, Woodman of the World, VFW Post 590 & Amoco Annuitants Club.

Brooklyn is survived by his daughter, Sandra F. Presson of Sheppton, PA. Two grandsons Michael (his wife Lisa), and Jeffrey Kmieciak. Five great-grandchildren Joshua, Caleb, Zachary, Noah & Jessica.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at 11:00 with visitation beginning at 10:00 until the time of the service. Interment will be private in Peninsula Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Brook’s special friends at Hardee’s for their years of love and support. Also, the York County Fire & Rescue and the staff of the York Convalescent Center.
