The Trojans visited Suffolk to take on the Saints of NSA in their final TCIS regular season game for both teams.
Walsingham had the first chance of the game when Max Rinaldi was sent in one on one with the goalie.  He struck a great shot that was turned away by NSA’s goalie 10 minutes later, Sam Weber struck for the Trojans when he drove the left wing and slotted the ball off the post for the games first goal.  Both teams traded chances over the next few minutes and NSA tied the game when they crashed the goal and put in a rebound.  Just five minutes later Solvi Bjornsson attacked the goal and was taken down in the box earning a PK which he scored for his 48th goal of the season, and 100th point. Later in the half Holden Kearns sent a long ball into Bjornsson who again found the back of the net for his second of the game.
The second half saw both teams trade possession with neither team finding many quality chances.  The game ended with the 3-1 score line.
The Trojans next play under the lights on Albert Daly Field @ William and Mary Soccer Stadium in Thursday night at 7pm.
They will then participate in the TCIS tournament beginning next week. The Trojans have secured the number 4 seed, and they will find out their opponent later in the week when all conference games have been completed.
