Police: Man robbed at gunpoint, suspect at large

Williamsburg police are searching for a man suspected of robbing another man at gunpoint near the intersection of Parkway Drive and Capitol Landing Road Monday evening.

According to a news release from the Williamsburg Police Department, the suspect is still at large.

The robbery victim reported that around 8:45 p.m. Monday, he was walking in the 400-block of Parkway Drive when he was approached by a stranger. The stranger displayed a firearm and demanded the victim hand over his belongings. When the victim complied, the suspect fled toward Bypass Road with an undisclosed amount of money, the release stated.

According to the victim, the suspect is a white male, 5’8” in height, wearing a tan hoodie, jeans and white shoes.
