Have a fine time drinking wine in the rain or sunshine on Saturday in historic Yorktown.
The Yorktown Wine Festival will feature bottles from 16 Virginia wineries and live music from the Blue House Project, Bobby Blackhat and the Deloreans, according to a York County news release.
But what’s drink without food? Vendors will offer barbecue, clam chowder, kettle corn, bunt cakes, crab cakes, seafood dips and hot dogs, said Karla Peck of Village Events, the business that is hosting the festival.
The wine festival will begin at noon and run until 6 p.m. and proceeds will benefit Sister Cities Yorktown and the American Heart Association, according to a Village Events event release.
Haven’t got a ticket yet? It’s not too late. Festival tickets will cost $35 at the door, and include wine sampling and a souvenir wine glass.
