Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Jim Zsoldos, 75, went to be with the Lord, and in the loving arms of his wife of 46 years Linda Zsoldos on Sept. 15, 2016 at Riverside Hospital where he passed away peacefully.
Jim Zsoldos is survived by his son Chris Zsoldos; daughter Jenni Zsoldos and granddaughter Julianna; brothers John Jr. and his wife Susan Zsoldos; Jerry Zsoldos; brother-in-law Doug Kanney and his wife Penny; and a number of nieces and nephews, all of whom he cared greatly about.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Sr. and Rosemary Zsoldos; and his wife Linda Zsoldos.
Jim was a lifelong resident of York County, and a graduate of York High School Class of 1959. He was a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Masters in Business Administration. He was a Master Shipbuilder as a Contract Administrator with Northup Gruman and retired in 2007 after 43 years of service. He was a top notch guy to work with. A sports car enthusiast, he was a fan of mustangs and enjoyed car shows and mustang club activities.
He was the backbone of the family and took pride in that. He was a loving and caring father. He would do anything he could to help anyone in need.
A funeral service will be held at Providence United Methodist Church, 113 Old Dare Rd. Yorktown , VA 23692 on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016 from 6–7 p.m. at Amory Funeral Home, Grafton.
