Jamestown Volleyball places 2nd in endless summer volleyball tournament

Jamestown competed in the Endless Summer High School Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Jamestown competed in the Red Division (Highest Division in the Tournament) consisting of 16 teams and finished 2nd overall. There was also a Blue Division (Middle Division) and a White Division (Lowest Division)

Jamestown defeated 6A Western Branch 25-13,25-7
Jamestown defeated 5A Salem of Virginia Beach 25-14,25-12
Jamestown defeated 7A Hoover High School of Alabama 25-21,25-21
Jamestown defeated 6A Kellam 25-17,25-23
Jamestown lost to 5A Princess Anne in the Championship Match 18-25,18-25

Jamestown is now 10-1 on the season and 6-0 in the Bay Rivers District

Ellie Popelka and Maria Esch were both selected to the Endless Summer All-Tournament Team.
